Meaningful Use (MU) sets specific objectives that eligible professionals (EPs) and hospitals must achieve to qualify for Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) incentive programs.

InSync allows you to qualify for Meaningful Use Stage-1 and Stage-2 criteria both, depending on the configuration done. Certain core and menu set measures require Yes/No attestations, and other core and menu set measures need to achieve specific percentage to fulfill the MU criteria. The customers who want to generate older MU reports can also generate the MU Stage-1 report as per old CMS criteria until 2013.

 

The Meaningful Use Main Screen can be accessed by clicking the Meaningful Use iconfrom the icons shown on top. On the top right side of the screen, “EMR Certification number” appears along with along with the following links:

 

 

On the top right side of the Meaningful Use Stage-2 Report screen, Meaningful Use Stage-2 quick reference guide link is also available. It  briefs you about criteria to increase numerator and denominator for all cores and menu set measures of MU Stage-2.
